Check endpoints and adjacent values

Boundary value analysis

Use boundary value analysis to check values inside and outside a numeric range. Work through an integer age range of 18–65.

Generate boundary values →

File sizes and generation counts have limits. Check the limits shown in each tool.

Example: integers from 18 through 65

If both endpoints are inclusive, accept 18 and 65 and reject 17 and 66. A typical boundary set is 17, 18, 19, 64, 65, 66. Testing only a value in the middle can miss endpoint comparison errors.

17 → 거절 / Reject
18, 19, 64, 65 → 허용 / Accept
66 → 거절 / Reject

Use the tool

Open Boundary value analysis, enter 18 as the minimum and 65 as the maximum, and generate values. Apply the results to your input field or API and compare acceptance with the specification. This website does not execute tests against your service.

Check other rules separately

Confirm endpoint inclusion, decimal support, units and rounding rules. Empty values, null and strings require checks beyond a numeric range. For multiple fields or request bodies, use the API test data guide.
